Dear members of ISSS
I (Shankar Sankaran) would like you to consider submitting a paper for the special issue in the journal titled International Journal for Managing Projects in Business (one of the three prominent journals in the field) titled 'Rethinking Infrastructure Projects in the New Normal' to consider  infrastructure development more critically post Covid-19. The issues to be addressed are very broad and you may find a viewpoint to focus your paper on. If you have any questions please ask me as I will be guest editing this issue:

The Springer Handbook of Systems Sciences will be ready in early 2021
Editors: Gary Metcalf, Professor Emeritus Kyoichi Kijima and Professor Hirsohi Deguchi
Gary says "Let me simply say that organizing the writing of 50 chapters into a book of over 1000 pages has been challenging. It has taken much longer than I expected, but we are now in the final phases". Well done Gary Jim and Hiroshi.

Although the conference had to be canceled this year due to circumstances beyond our control we plan to complete some activities normally associated with our meetings.. We will also be discussing the possibility of a virtual event later this year that will be managed by Peter Tuddenham and Delia Macnamara. More details to follow after a decision is made.

More detials on these activities in this news item.
